CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- The hottest ticket in Charleston right now is a debate between a prominent environmentalist and a coal company executive.

Tickets for the Jan. 21 forum pitting attorney Robert F. Kennedy Jr. against Massey Energy chief Don Blankenship are sold out.

The debate will be held at the University of Charleston's Geary Auditorium, which holds about 950 people.

University spokeswoman Jennie Ferretti says a gymnasium will serve as an overflow room. No ticket will be needed to watch from the gym. The debate will also be broadcast live on television stations throughout the state.

Kennedy, the son of the late U.S. Sen. Robert F. Kennedy, is an opponent of mountaintop removal mining. Richmond, Va.-based Massey is central Appalachia's largest coal producer.
